Operation: HOT TUB

After about a year of searching, I have finally acquired a hot tub. I have been wanting to incorporate the fiberglass/acrylic shell of a tub into a piece, but have had little luck tracking down a free one. I was recently in Phoenixsville, PA and along side of the road my boyfriend and I spotted free, abandoned spas. The images below are of the spa we heaved into a pick-up truck, brought back to his house, and then I proceeded to saw it into sections. The following day we stacked all the pieces of the hot tub back into the truck and drove it back to my studio in Brooklyn. It was quite an effort to say the least.
